This is an application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The applicant has been arrested in connection with Crime No.0075/2019, registered with Ahmednagar Taluka Police Station, District Ahmednagar, for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 419, 467, 468, 471 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Heard. Perused the First Information Report (FIR) and related papers.

The applicant has been behind the bars from 16.12.2021. His father has been granted bail. The investigation is complete. The charge-sheet has been filed. Although it is a case of duping a bank of Rs.68,00,000/-, the Investigating Officer, for the reasons best known to him, could not recover a single pai from any of the accused. The applicant herein, on his own, came forward to deposit a sum of Rs.10,00,000/-. In view of the same, the Court is inclined to grant him bail in terms of the following order:
O R D E R
(i) The Bail Application is allowed.
(ii) The amount of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakh) shall be deposited within a period of six weeks. A sum of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakh) has to be deposited within a couple of weeks as condition precedent for release on bail.
(iii) In case, a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- is not deposited within time frame, the bail granted to the applicant shall be deemed to have been cancelled without reference to the Court.
(iv) Subject to the above conditions, the applicant be released on bail in connection with Crime
(( 3 )) 945-BA-751-2022 No.0075/2019, registered with Ahmednagar Taluka Police Station, District Ahmednagar, for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 419, 467, 468, 471 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, on his executing P. R. bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) with surety bond of the like amount.
(v) Once the amount is deposited, the same be paid to the complainant/informant representing the Bank of Maharashtra on whose behalf the FIR has been lodged.
(vi) The applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence.
