Heard Mr Malte, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner.

Mr Malte, learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted before us that the petitioner had approached this Court challenging the Government Resolution dated 5th March, 2011 and one of the prayers was of continuation of his service. It is then submitted by Mr Malte, that the petition was filed on 27th May, 2013 and during the pendency

4231.13wp (2) of the petition, the petitioner stood retired on 31st May, 2016 and as such, no fruitful purpose will be served by keeping the petition pending in this Court and by passage of time, the petition has rendered infructuous.
