951.wp.6723.2020.odt bar a subsequent communication addressed by the University to the Secretary, Higher and Technical Department, Mantralaya Mumbai dated 20.10.2023 which is in the form of a positive recommendation for starting a College as contemplated under Sections 107 and 109 of the Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016. The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if the respondent No.1 is directed to process this communication and prays to dispose of the petition.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent No.1 to process the communication received from the University dated 20.10.2023 on its own merits in accordance with the law, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within six weeks.
