Considering the limited relief sought by the Petitioner, we are of the opinion that Respondent No.4 need not be served. Hence, service on the said respondent is dispensed with. 2.

On 08.05.2025, this Court had granted ad-interim relief in favour of the Petitioner till the next date of listing. 3.

We are of the opinion that this Petition can be disposed of by issuing directions to Respondent No.2 Scrutiny Committee.

Accordingly, Respondent No.2 is directed to decide the tribe claim of the Petitioner of belonging to "Koli Mahadev" scheduled tribe, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within six months from today.

Ad-interim relief granted in favour of the Petitioner is confirmed, subject to the Petitioner submitting an undertaking before this Court within two weeks from today that he shall not claim any service benefit, such as, promotion, increment, pay fixation etc., till the Respondent Scrutiny Committee decides his tribe claim. A copy of the undertaking shall be placed before Respondent No.2 Scrutiny Committee as well as the employer, within two weeks from today. 6.

This Court has not expressed any opinion on merits. 7.
