In case, the application is filed by the petitioners under section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act and if the same is pending with the authority (page 22), then the authority shall decide the same on its own merits, after hearing all the parties and as per the procedure, expeditiously and preferably within a period of nine months from today.

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
