The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the trial Court has issued the process on 19.7.2021 and posted the case for the appearance of the accused on 21.8.2021.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is 70 years of age and thus, the necessary directions may be given to the trial Court for expeditious disposal of the case.

At this stage, we are not inclined to give any directions to the trial Court for several reasons, i.e. the accused may not be served with the process issued by the Court; the accused may challenge the said order of issuance of process by filing the revision before the Sessions Court. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to file an application for expeditious disposal of the case once the matter gets ready and upon filing such application, the trial Court shall consider the same by taking into account the old age of the petitioner. 4.
