The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the proposal of the petitioner for opening a new Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) College is pending with the Respondents. The petitioner is seeking a direction for deciding the said proposal.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that similar petitions are disposed of by this Court under order dated 27th August, 2020 in Writ Petition No.5883 of 2020 with connected matters.

It is expected that Respondent No.2 would consider the said proposal in accordance with the procedure laid down and by following all procedural formalities. Needless to state, this proposal would be considered in accordance with the standards prescribed and we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the proposal of the petitioner.
