We have heard the learned advocate for the applicants, learned advocate for the respondent No.2 who is wife of the applicant No.1 and the learned APP.

The parties seem to have settled the dispute amicably. They were before the Family Court, Aurangabad. A proceeding under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 initiated by the husband applicant No.1 and the one filed jointly by them under Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act for divorce by mutual consent has been amicably settled before the Family 1/2

The allegations in the FIR are not so serious as would give rise to any suspicion regarding commission of any serious crime. When the parties have decided to put a full stop to all the disputes between them, in our opinion when there is nothing to indicate that any public policy is being violated or the settlement is against societal interest, we allow the Application and quash and set aside the R.C.C.
