1] The matter was called out in the morning session, none appeared for the petitioner. It was kept back. In the afternoon session also, when the matter is called out, none appears for the petitioner.

2] The learned AGP submits that the petitioner has a remedy before the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal (MAT). The petitioner, it appears, was serving with the Police Department. The grievance of the petitioner can be redressed by the MAT. 3] In the light of that, writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail alternate remedy. All contentions are kept open.
