We have heard Mr Gadhe, the learned Counsel for the petitioners and the learned A.G.P. for State.

It is contended that the petitioners have filed an appeal under the provisions of the Maharashtra Educational Institutions (Management) Act, 1976, pursuant to the order passed by this Court in Writ Petition Stamp No. 10896 of 2020. Subsequently, the petitioners filed Writ Petition Stamp No. 12277 of 2020 seeking continuation of the interim order dated 30.6.2020 passed in Writ Petition Stamp No. 10896 of 2020 on the ground that the appeal is not heard.

This Court, under order dated 23.7.2020 in Writ Petition Stamp No. 12277 of 2020 continued the interim order for four weeks.

It is submitted that hearing before the Honourable Minister has not yet commenced. The learned A.G.P., on instructions submits that the appeal is filed by the petitioners. It will be taken up for hearing by the Honourable Minister within eight weeks.

The respondents are not sure as to when the hearing of the appeal would take place.

In light of that, the interim order dated 23.7.2020 in Writ Petition Stamp No. 12277 of 2020 would continue till the decision on the stay petition before the Honourable Minister.

Writ Petition disposed of. No costs.
