This application is filed for seeking two months extension for depositing amount as per the directions issued by this Court on 08/12/2022 in Civil Application No.7403/2018 in Arbitration Appeal (St) No.12273/2018.

Learned advocate for respondent strenuously opposed the application contending that there is inordinate delay in depositing the amount. Time stipulated by this Court is already over and belatedly present application is filed. Hence, heavy cost be imposed on the applicant for delay. He further submits that documents placed on record along with the civil application shows that there is no certainty as to whether the Government will be releasing the amount to the applicant.

Be that as it may. Since applicant has undertaken to deposit the amount within two months from today, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause 'B'.
