The Advocate for the acquiring body, on instructions, submits that within a period of three (03) months from today the proposal would be submitted by the acquiring body for acquisition of the petitioners' land.

After the proposal is received from the acquiring body the Special Land Acquisition Officer shall commence process of acquisition preferably within a period of three (03) months thereafter, and shall conclude acquisition

2 wp 8521.2021 proceedings within the time stipulated under the Right to Fair Compensation in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Re-settlement Act, 2013. Within a period of three (03) months from today the parties may explore the possibility of acquisition by private negotiations also.

Writ Petition accordingly stands disposed of. No costs.
