The respondent/ contemnor is present in the Court. A communication by her addressed to the learned AGP dated 14.07.2022 in Marathi is placed before us, which is marked as "X" for identification.

On instructions, the learned AGP submits that the respondent/contemnor joined her present posting in September, 2021.

This Court passed an order on 21.10.2021 in Writ Petition No.11666/2021. Four months time was granted to decide the proposal seeking approval for appointment of the petitioner.

*2* 909cp323o22 Till today, the proposal is not decided. The communication "X" indicates that due to oversight the Education Officer did not decide the matter.

This is not the first time when the said Education Officer Smt.Garud is before us. This is a clear case of contempt. We would have been justified in awarding punishment to her. Considering that she is a lady, that we are refraining from passing an order of punishment. Instead, we record our strong displeasure as regards her conduct.

The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that if the statement made in the communication "X" that the proposal would be decided within one week is recorded, the petition be disposed off.

In view of the above, this Contempt Petition is disposed off. The statement of the respondent is recorded. 7.

We direct the learned Registrar (Judicial) of this Court to place this order before the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Parbhani, so as to be entered in the service book of the respondent/ Education Officer Smt.Asha Garud. kps (ANIL L. PANSARE, J.) (RAVINDRA V. GHUGE, J.)
