PER COURT :- 1.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (APP), as well as the learned Counsel for the applicant, submit that the trial has commenced and that six witnesses are yet to be examined.

In view of the above submissions and considering that the trial is already underway, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present application for bail at this stage.

3.

Accordingly, the bail application stands disposed of, with liberty to the applicant to revive the same in the event the trial does not conclude within a period of six months from today.

4.

It is made clear that this order shall not be treated as an expression of opinion on the merits of the case and that the trial Court shall proceed independently and in accordance with law.
