Mr. Thombre, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the proposal is submitted for start of BSW / MSW college at Parali city for the academic year 2021-2022. No decision has been taken on it as yet. 2.

Mrs. Deshpande, learned Addl. G. P. on instructions of the Assistant Commissioner, Social Welfare Department submits that the proposal is still pending with the Higher and Technical Education Department. The Higher and Technical Education Department has to forward it to the Social Welfare Department.

The Higher and Technical Education Department shall process the proposal and forward it to the Social Welfare Department expeditiously and preferably within a period of four (04) weeks from today. The Social Welfare Department shall take decision upon the said proposal on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy, expeditiously and preferably within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of the proposal.
