1] Heard learned counsel for the applicants and the learned APP for the respondent-State.

2] The applicants are apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No.133/2024, registered at Parola Police Station, District Jalgaon, for the offences punishable under Sections 306, 304(B), 498-A, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3] This court by order dated 15.05.2024 granted interim protection to the applicants noticing submissions at paragraphs no.3 and 4, as under:

"3. The learned counsel for the Applicants submits that the Applicants are senior citizens. By referring to the first information report it is submitted that the allegations in respect of demand of money is against the co-accused who is already arrested.

4. Having regard to the afore stated facts, the liberty of the Applicants is protected till the prosecution is heard in the matter. Hence, the following order:-..." 4] The learned counsel for the applicants submits that thereafter the applicants have cooperated with the investigation. He also submits that the main accused i.e. the husband of the deceased has been granted regular bail, on 21.05.2024. He submits that the entire investigation in the matter would be now over as the husband is granted regular bail and, so also, that the applicants have cooperated with the investigation.

5] Considering that the regular bail is already granted to the husband of the deceased and the applicants are old aged persons further custodial interrogation of the applicants may not be necessary.

6] It is also stated that omnibus allegations are levelled against 9 accused. As such, over implication cannot be ruled out.

7] Considering these aspects of the matter, the interim protection granted earlier can be confirmed.

8] In view of the above, the interim protection granted by order dated 15.05.2024 stands confirmed, on the following terms:

i] The applicants shall attend the police station as and when required by the Investigating Officer. ii] The applicants shall not tamper with the evidence of the prosecution in any manner. They shall not influence the informant, witnesses and other persons concerned with the case.

iii] The applicants shall co-operate with the investigation and also in the proceedings before the trial Court.

9] In the event, the applicants violate any of the conditions specified in this order, it shall be liable to be cancelled.

10] It is also clarified that the observations made in this order are limited to the disposal of the present anticipatory bail application and the trial Court shall proceed further in the matter without being influenced by the observations made hereinabove.

11] The application stands disposed of.
