The parties, the applicant on the one hand and respondent no. 2 on the other are ad idem that they have arrived at some settlement terms duly affirmed by applicant no. 1 - husband and respondent no. 2 - wife.

In view of such settlement, we see no impediment in quashing the crime. Criminal Application is allowed. Crime No. 116 of 2023 registered with CIDCO Police Station, Aurangabad, for

the offences punishable under Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, and 323, 34, 498-A and 504 of the Indian Penal Code and RCC No. 2221 of 2023 pending before learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Aurangabad, are quashed and set aside.
