The petitioners have a statutory remedy of preferring a review u/s 320 of the Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats and Industrial Townships Act, 1965.

If the petitioners prefer such a review petition within 15 days, the concerned authority shall issue notices to all the litigating sides and after the appearance of the parties on the returnable date, shall decide the review proceedings within 45 days from the date of appearance.

A specific date for pronouncing the order on the review application shall be disclosed well in advance so as to enable the khs/JULY 2019/7743

- 2 - parties to remain present on the date of pronouncement and the concerned authority shall therefore keep the copy of it's order ready on the date of pronouncement.
