This petition take exception to the order passed by the Divisional Joint Registrar, dismissing the revision on the ground that there is no statutory deposit amount by the petitioner/revisionist before him. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, makes statement that the petitioner has deposited in all 18 Lakhs with the Bank. ₹ Thus, it is his contention that the requirement for hearing the revision is fulfilled and as such the Divisional Joint Registrar be directed to decide revision on merits.

The learned counsel for the contesting respondent opposes the Shrikant Malani

911.WP.8330.2022.doc petition. Though there is no dispute with regard to the fact that sum of ₹ 18 Lakhs is deposited with the Bank, it is contended that there is no reason to cause interference in the impugned order.

Though this Court finds that the order passed by the Divisional Joint Registrar impugned in this petition is justified in the fact prevailing then, however, in view of the subsequent events of petitioner depositing ₹ 18 Lakhs, which is more than 50% amount due and payable by the petitioner, this Court finds it appropriate to set aside the impugned order. 5.

Accordingly, the impugned order stands set aside. The Divisional Joint Registrar to hear Revision Application No.61 of 2022 on merit.
