The petitioner seeks directions against the scrutiny committee to decide the validation proceeding expeditiously. 2.

The proposal for validation of the tribe claim of the petitioner is filed with the Scrutiny Committee only on 11th June, 2021. We deprecate the lethargy on the part of the petitioner in filing the proceeding so late and coming to the Court at the eleventh hour. The petitioner is exploring possibility of admission to the professional course. In that case he ought to have been more prompt.

The respondent No. 2/Committee, if it is possible for it, may endeavour to decide the validation proceeding by end of August 2021. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee

In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
