At the request of learned counsel for the petitioner leave to add Deputy Collector (Atiyat) as a party-respondent. 2.

We have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Addl. G. P. for respondents.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petition is restricted to the extent of prayer clause (C) i.e. seeking directions against the Deputy Collector (Atiyat) to decide the proceedings expeditiously.

The learned Addl. G. P. accepts notice for respondents including added party-respondent.

We may not give a time schedule, however, as the succession proceedings are filed before the Deputy Collector (Atiyat), the Deputy Collector (Atiyat) shall endeavour to decide the said proceedings expeditiously after hearing all parties concerned and as per the procedure and rules.
