Irrespective of the prayer clause B, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that petitioner would be satisfied if direction is issued pursuant to prayer clause E for processing his pension papers and extension of pensionary benefit.

Learned advocate for the respondent Nos. 3 and 4/management and the college would submit that the petitioner stands retired long back. He has never approached the management with any request for processing pension papers and

2 wp 10617.22 corrected receiving pensionary benefits. If he is ready to do that the respondents would cooperate.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the petitioner to make necessary request by approaching respondent Nos. 3 and 4 on 02 August 2024. Thereafter respondent Nos. 3 and 4 shall process the pension papers and extend the pensionary benefits as the case may be as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of six (06) weeks thereafter.
