The application is moved seeking extension of time to deposit the amount for the reasons set out in detail in the application.

Heard learned counsel for the applicant. Learned counsel submits that due to pandemic on account of Covid-19 the functioning of the Department was disturbed, and therefore, the amount could not be deposited within time. He submits that the cheque is received and the same can be deposited during the course of day.

Considering the cause assigned, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause "B". Time to deposit the amount is extended till 20th September, 2020. Registry to accept the cheque.
