The Petitioners have put forth prayer clause (B) as under:- (B) By way of an appropriate writ of mandamus, order or direction, it may kindly be directed to the Respondents to consider and decide Representations at Exhibit-B and to pay the legitimate dues of the Petitioners towards sitting allowance/Honorarium for the period 3rd May, 2018 to 31st March, 2021 [8 meetings per month] immediately to the Petitioners as per Rule 61 of Juvenile Justice [Care and Protection Children] Rules, 2016 and Section 28(1) of the said Act.

The learned AGP representing the Respondents submits that the representations filed by the Petitioners are on record on page Nos. 12 and 13, addressed to respondent No.2. 3.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider the representations of the Petitioners, within the purview of the scheme set out under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 as expeditiously as possible. In the event, the Petitioners are entitled to any payment, such payment shall be made to them on or before 31.08.2023.
