Issue notice to respondents returnable on 29th June, 2018. Learned AGP waives service of notice on behalf of all respondents. 2.

Petitioners claim to be belonging to Thakur Scheduled Tribe and have been inducted in police department as Head Constable and Assistant Sub-Inspector as against the seats reserved for

Validity certificates issued in favour of petitioners have been referred to the Scrutiny Committee for verification and it is informed that the claims have yet not been decided by the Scrutiny Committee. As a result of failure of petitioners to submit validation certificate, respondent no. 3 has initiated adverse action against them.

In view of above, this petition can be disposed of by directing respondent no. 1 - Scrutiny Committee to take decision in respect of validation of case certificates issued in favour of petitioners, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from today and it is accordingly directed.
