Heard Mr. Irale Patil, the learned counsel for petitioners. The petitioners were placed under suspension. The order of suspension is revoked. The petitioners are now placed on non functional posts.

Mr. Suryawanshi, the learned counsel for the Zilla Parishad submits that, the Zilla Parishad has recommended the case of the petitioners to the Divisional Commissioner. The Divisional Commissioner in turn has forwarded it to the respondent No. 1 for taking decision and allotting functional posts to petitioners. The same is pending.

The proposal, it appears from the document submitted has

2 wp 7205.21 reached to the office of the respondent No. 1 on 05th August, 2021.

Considering the fact that the proposal is pending with the respondent No. 1, the respondent No. 1 shall take decision upon the said proposal on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy, expeditiously and preferably within a period of eight (08) weeks from today.

In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
