This is an application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The applicant has been arrested in connection with Crime No.0007/2022, registered at Palam Police Station, District Parbhani, for the offences punishable under Sections 489-B, 489-C, 420 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 2.

Heard. Perused the First Information Report (FIR) and related papers.

(( 2 )) 919-BA-785-2022 Pursuant to a tip-off, a co-accused, by name Shaikh Hussain Shaikh Jilani, was apprehended at Palam. He was found in possession of counterfeit currency notes worth Rs.22,800/-. Close scrutiny of police papers would indicate that the name of the present applicant surfaced only during interrogation of co-accused. Except the same, there is nothing to attribute the applicant's involvement either in possessing or manufacturing counterfeit currency notes. On investigation, the charge-sheet has been filed. It will take time for commencement and conclusion of trial. Hence, following order:

O R D E R

(i) The Bail Application is allowed.

(ii)The applicant be released on bail in connection with Crime No.0007/2022, registered at Palam Police Station, District Parbhani, for the offences punishable under Sections 489-B, 489-C, 420 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code, on his executing P. R. bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) with surety bond in the like amount.

(iii)The applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence.
