The present application is filed seeking exemption from appearance of the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government, Medical Education and Drugs Department. This Court, vide order dated 30.4.2015 had directed respondent Nos. 2 and 3 i.e. the Secretary and the Registrar to remain present in this Court. It appears that the reports of service of show cause notice to respondent Nos. 2 and 3 are awaited.

Today, Civil Application is filed seeking exemption from the appearance of Additional Chief Secretary. Mr. Talekar, the learned counsel submits that the Secretary is transferred and the Additional Chief Secretary is holding the charge. The sanction intake capacity of some of the Medical Colleges have been reduced. The Additional Chief Secretary is trying hard to restore the same and is required to attend the meeting scheduled on 10.06.2015 and as such he is not able to attend the Court today so the exemption be granted from appearance on 10.06.2015.

We have heard learned counsel for the respondents. 4.

Considering the reasons given, the personal appearance of respondent No. 2 is exempted for today as prayed for. The office to ensure that the show cause notice issued on 30.04.2015 is served upon respondent No. 3.

Civil Application stands disposed of. Place the writ petitions on 24.06.2015.
