Heard the learned counsel for the applicants and the learned A.P.P. for the respondent/State.

At the outset, the learned counsel for the applicants submits that applicants No.1 to 4, 6 and 7 have surrendered. Therefore, the application to their extent has rendered infructuous. In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the applicants, the application to the extent of applicants No.1 to 4, 6 and 7 stands dismissed as infructuous.

The applicants No.5 and 8 to 10 are on interim protection since 19.06.2021. The learned counsel for the applicants and the learned A.P.P. state that the investigation is over and the charge-sheet is filed. The custodial interrogation of the applicants is not required. In view

914-ABA-602-21 (2) of the facts and the statements made by the learned counsel for the applicants and the learned A.P.P., the application is allowed and the interim protection granted to the applicants No.5, 8 to 10 is confirmed on the same terms and conditions.

For the reasons stated in the application, Criminal Application No. 1307 of 2021 is allowed.
