Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioners. 2.

The Petition can be disposed of at this stage itself, as Respondent No.1 State is represented by the learned AGP and the Respondent Nos.2 and 3 is represented by Mr. Pulkundwar, the learned counsel.

We find that in similar circumstances, on earlier occasions also, this Court has granted limited relief to the Petitioners.

The Petitioners claim that being District Awardee Teachers, they are entitled to an additional increment as per policy

(( 2 )) 944-WP-8288-2025 of the State itself reflected in Government Circular dated 12.12.2000. It is also found that in the light of the said circular and earlier orders passed by this Court, on 18.11.2024, the Deputy Secretary of the concerned Department of the State of Maharashtra had sent communication to all the Chief Executive Officers of the Zilla Parishads, to consider the claims of such teachers and to grant relief on merits from the funds of the respective Zilla Parishads. 5.

We are further informed that the Petitioners have already submitted the representations regarding their claims before Respondent No.2 and the same are pending consideration. 6.

In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing Respondent No.2 to consider pending representations of the Petitioners in the light of the earlier orders passed by this Court, Government Circular dated 12.12.2000 and the general directions issued by the State of Maharashtra on 18.11.2024, on their own merits. The representations shall be disposed of within eight weeks from today.
