All these petitioners are identically placed. They are equipped with Revenue Recovery Certificates (RRCs), in connection with their claims for gratuity having being concluded by the controlling authority

WP 7016-2022, 8408-2022 under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972. Even earlier, this Court has delivered an order dated 20/08/2021, in a large group of matters, (Writ Petition No.3036 of 2020 and group of petitions), Auchitrao Bhika Gorade Vs. The State of Maharashtra and others.

In view of the above, these petitions are disposed off, with a direction to respondent No.2 to initiate the necessary steps for the recovery of the amounts set out in the RRCs along with interest, by following the due procedure laid down in the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code. Respondent No.2 shall ensure that the RRCs are satisfied and the amounts are recovered, on or before 31/12/2022. ( ARUN R. PEDNEKER, J. ) ( RAVINDRA V. GHUGE, J. ) vjg/-.
