The petitioner is an Assistant Accounts Officer, who is under suspension vide order dated 09.07.2017. His appeal against the suspension is pending with respondent no. 2. He prays that respondent no. 2 may be directed to decide the appeal and this petition can be disposed off.

Shri. Sonawane, learned advocate has caused an appearance on behalf of respondent no. 2 since we called upon him to assist us as he is the counsel who normally appears for the said respondent.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off with the following directions : - "[a]The petitioner shall appear before respondent no. 2 on 11.07.2022 at 02:00 p.m. and thereafter participate in the proceedings before by respondent no. 2.

[b] We expect respondent no. 2 to decide the pending appeal of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably on or before 30.09.2022."
