The Petitioners have put-forth prayer clause-C and D as under: "C) By issue of writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the Respondents to consider the applications dated 10/07/2013 and reminders dated 08/02/2023 and to pay the amount of compensation for the same within a stipulated period by passing award. D) Pending hearing and final disposal of the present Writ Petition issue of writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or Mandamus directing the Respondents to consider the direction in the nature of applications dated 10/07/2013 and reminders dated 08/02/2023 and to pay the amount of compensation for the same within a stipulated period by passing award."

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. If the District Collector, Osmanabad is vested with the jurisdiction, he shall proceed to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 08.02.2023, within a period of 120 days, by following the due procedure laid down in law and by granting a reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the stake holders. 3.
