An innocuous prayer has been made in this petition by the petitioners inasmuch as direction is sought to respondent no.2 - University to consider and decide the representations of the petitioners dated 11.06.2016.

Though the learned Counsel for respondent no.2 - University prays for time for filing reply, in our opinion, no fruitful purpose will be served by keeping this pending.

In the circumstances, we direct respondent no.2 - University to consider and decide the representations of the petitioners dated 11.06.2016, if already not decided, in accordance with the relevant Rules/Policy/procedure, as expeditiously as possible, however, within a period of four months from today.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
