The maintenance granted to the wife and the daughter, is 20.5% of the salary of the Petitioner. The law laid down in Kulbhushan Kumar v. Raj Kumari, (1970) 3 SCC 129 and Kalyan Dey Chowdhury vs. Rita Dey Chowdhury Nee Nandy, (2017) 14 SCC 200, would be applicable. 3.

The learned Standing Counsel for the Union of India has raised a serious objection about the maintainability of this
