Learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Mukhed, pursuant to the provisions of section 22 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, awarded compensation of Rs.10,000/-, which I am informed is already recoverred.

The order of compensation was subjected to challenge in an appeal before the learned Additional Sessions Judge, who has dismissed the same.
