An application tendered by the petitioners claiming benefits under Section 34 of the Land Acquisition Act, is stated to be pending with the Collector. The petitioners state that, they have not presented any Reference Application challenging the award passed by the Collector.

In this view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the Collector to dispose of the application tendered by the petitioners on 20.02.2016, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from today and it is accordingly directed. 3.

On determination of the monetary benefits under Section 34 of the Land Acquisition Act, respondent No. 5 shall disburse the amount within a period of six weeks from the date of such decision. [ K. K. SONAWANE ] [ R. M. BORDE ] JUDGE JUDGE
