The Petitioner prays for release of his vehicle which has been seized. He has already approached the Tahsildar Respondent No.3 herein, vide his application dated 07.06.2022. Orders on the said application have still not been passed. 2.

The Petitioner has pleaded in the grounds that the Government contractor had already paid the royalty for the transportation of minerals (Muroom) and by letter dated 04.03.2022, the Assistant Engineer, PWD, Ahmednagar had

2 wp 6093.2022 communicated this aspect to the Government contractor. The vehicle was wrongly seized. No FIR has been registered. There is no communication to the Petitioner in respect of imposition of any penalty under the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code. 3.

In view of the above, this Petition is disposed off. The Petitioner would appear before Respondent No.3 on 08.08.2022 at 12:00 noon. We expect Respondent No.3 to conclude the hearing and pass an order as expeditiously as possible and in any case on or before 22.08.2022. All contentions are kept open.

Needless to state, the Tahsildar would pass orders strictly in accordance with the provisions of law.
