Jyoti committed suicide within a period of a year of her marriage, by hanging herself at her matrimonial home. Jyoti married to accused No.1 in 2020. Mother-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law and husband are accused in Crime No. 130 of 2021 registered at the instance of brother of the deceased, at Sonpeth Police Station, Dist. Parbhani for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 306, 304-B, 323, 504 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Applicant, herein is married, sister-in-law residing at Parali, a place far away from the matrimonial home of the deceased. The prosecution case is that soon after the marriage the applicant and the co-accused were harassing Jyoti with a view to coercing her to meet their unlawful demand for money / four

(2) aba689.21 wheeler. The allegations against the applicant are vague and general in nature to say, she was harassing Jyoti on telephone calls. It is informed that husband, mother-in-law and brother-in-law were arrested. In view the allegations, custodial interrogation of the applicant shall not serve purpose. The application is allowed. 3.

In the event of arrest in connection with the Crime No. 130 of 2021 registered at the instance of brother of the deceased at Sonpeth Police Station, Dist. Parbhani for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 306, 304-B, 323, 504 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, the applicant shall be released on bail on executing bond in the sum of Rs. 20,000/- [Rupees Twenty Thousand] with one or more sureties in the like amount. The applicant shall join the investigation as and when called by the Investigating Officer.
