Inspite of service of notice, none appears for the respondents. These applications are for condonation of delay of 335 days caused in filing the appeals by the State. 02.
For the reasons stated in the applications, the applications are allowed. The delay stands condoned. The First Appeals be registered. FIRST APPEALS 01.
So far as First Appeals are concerned, the learned Special Land Acquisition Officer has awarded rate of Rs.488/- per R. Same is enhanced to Rs. 875/- per R by the learned Reference Court. 02.
Considering the policy of the Government vide Government Resolution No. Sankirna-2014/pra.kra.4/Bham-1/A-4 dated 03.11.2016 and its corrigendum dated 23.02.2017 and 17.08.2015, this Court finds that the appeals are squarely covered by the said decision. As per the decision, the cases where the Reference Court has enhanced compensation less than four times of the rate granted by the learned Special Land Acquisition Officer, no appeals are to be preferred. In case appeals are preferred, those are to be settled in the Lokadalat.

This Court finds that since the matters are covered by the said decision, keeping these appeals pending is of no use. The appeals, therefore, deserve to be dismissed and are dismissed as such.
