The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner has not been paid the salary from 2010 to 2017. During the said period, he was working as special teacher. The petitioner has given representation on 17.08.2021 to the Education Officer.

We have also heard the learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondent Nos. 1 to 5. The learned A. G. P. submits that, the Education Officer would consider the representation of the petitioner on its own merits.

The Education Officer may consider application/representation of the petitioner for grant of salary on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy, expeditiously

In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
