The petitioner seeks directions against the respondent No. 2 to decide the proposal submitted for approval to the appointment of the petitioner.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader accepts notice for respondent Nos. 1 and 2.

In case, the proposal seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioner (Page No. 40) is pending with the respondent No. 2, then the respondent No. 2 shall decide the same on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy as would be applicable to the case of the petitioner. The same shall be done expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (06) months from today.
