The learned AGP has placed on record a copy of the communication dated 01.09.2022 received by him from Shri Yogesh Desai, D.I.G. (Prisons), Central Division, Aurangabad, indicating that the petitioner has already been reinstated in service on 01.11.2018. The said letter dated 01.09.2022 is marked as "X" for identification. The Learned AGP submits that within six months from today, the enquiry would be completed. 2.

The learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner has been reinstated, the hanging sword of the

2-WP-7004-2022 -2departmental enquiry is increasing his anxiety. He submits that an enquiry cannot be continued for four years. He prays that the enquiry may be concluded as expeditiously as possible. 3.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off with the direction that the concerned authorities would conclude the disciplinary enquiry initiated against the petitioner, on or before 30.12.2022. We make it clear that we would not entertain a request for extension of time.
