The applicants are seeking condonation of delay in filing the Review Application.

The learned AGP appearing for the applicants invites our attention to the cause disclosed in the Application, which according to him is sufficient to condone the delay, and

therefore, prays that the delay in filing Review Application may be condoned.

On the other hand, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that no sufficient cause has been disclosed in the application for condonation of delay, and delay of 344 days in filing the Review Application remained unexplained on the part of the applicants. He invites our attention to the exposition of law by the Supreme Court in the case of Pundlik Jalam Patil (D) by Lrs. Vs. Exe.Eng.Jalgaon Medium Project & Anr.1 and submits that in the absence of sufficient cause, delay in filing review application may not be condoned.

Upon hearing the learned counsel appearing for the parties and perusal of the averments in the application for condonation of delay, we are not convinced by the reasons stated in the application, however, to meet ends of justice we condone the delay. Accordingly, delay 2008 [6] ALL MR 954

in filing Review Application stands condoned, the Civil Application stands disposed of.
