The petitioners are praying for issuance of directions to the Respondents to declare an Award in respect of acquired property belonging to them in accordance with The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, and to pay compensation within stipulated period.

2 5996-15wp gr 2) An affidavit-in-reply has been presented on behalf of Respondent Nos.5 and 6, wherein it has been stated that, the Award has already been declared in accordance with the Act of 2013 on 14.08.2015. In view of declaration of the award by the Respondents, the grievances raised by the Petitioners in the petitions seem to have been redressed.

3) So far as payment of amount of compensation under the award is concerned, the Respondents are directed to make payment to the claimants in accordance with the determination under the Award declared on 14.08.2015, as expeditiously as possible, and preferably within a period of eight weeks from today.

4) With the directions, as above, writ petitions are disposed of.
