The petitioners want to contest the election. The validation proceeding in respect of their caste claim is pending with the Respondent-Committee. The directions are

9-wp.7948-19 & ors.odt sought to decide the same expeditiously. They are pending since 3 to 4 years. The learned AGP accepts notice for the Respondents-State.

In case, the validation proceeding in respect of the caste claim of the petitioners is pending with the Respondent-Committee, then the Committee shall decide the same on its own merits in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within six months from the date of appearance of the petitioners. The petitioners shall appear before the Committee on 15.07.2019.

The Writ Petitions are disposed of.
