The Petitioner has put-forth prayer clause 'A', as under- "A] By issuing writ of mandamus or any other writ in the like nature, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct that, the respondent no.1 shall decide the Revision Petition dated 06.01.2022 filed by the petitioner under Section 138 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act within period of one month."

Having considered the submissions of the learned Advocate for the Petitioner and the learned GP, we are of the view that the Petitioner has prayed for an innocuous order of directing the Principal Secretary, State Excise, Mantralaya, Mumbai to decide the pending Revision Petition filed by him under Section 138 of the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949 alongwith the Stay Application, on 03.01.2022, expeditiously.

In view of the above, this Petition is disposed off with a direction to Respondent No.1 to decide the said proceedings expeditiously and by granting reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the stakeholders and strictly in accordance with the Rules, the policies applicable, on or before 15.10.2022.
