ORDER :

It appears that the petitioner is already disqualified in view of the some provisions of Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act and there is allegation that party interested and related to the petitioner got work and amount was actually collected by the said party (father-in-law of the petitioner). It appears that after filing appeal before the Commissioner, stay was granted by the Commissioner. So, the present proceeding is filed. 2.

This Court granted status-quo on 9.5.2016. It can be said that due to the pendency of the present proceeding and order made by this Court, proceeding before the Commissioner is still pending. Purpose of both the sides will be served, if direction is give to Commissioner to decide the matter within 15

WP No. 5499/2016 days as it is appeal and small point is involved and the record is available. So, following order is made.

O R D E R

Commissioner, where appeal is pending is hereby directed to decide the appeal within 15 days from the date of this order. Parties are to appear before Commissioner on 29.8.2016. No adjournment is to be granted to any side and the matter is to be expedited. Stay already granted by this Court will continue for the period of 15 days started from 29.8.2016.
