Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and learned APP for the respondent/State.

Bare allegation of instigating the complainant to pay money and get the work done have been levelled against the present applicant. Except this, there are no allegations against the applicant. The Investigating Officer has successfully trapped and arrested the coaccused while accepting the bribe. 3.

In view of the allegation levelled against the applicant, this Court is of the view that the custodial interrogation of the application

ABA756.22 (2) is not essential. The application therefore deserves to be allowed. Hence, the following order - i) The application is allowed.

ii) The interim protection granted to the applicant by order dated 22.06.2022 is confirmed on the same terms and conditions. (S. G. MEHARE, J.) amj
