This application is filed seeking corrections in the names of the applicants. The applicants have produced on record copies of Adhar cards, PAN cards and school leaving certificates to show their correct names.

The learned counsel for the appellant / insurance company submits that, in fact, the names are taken from the claim petition

987 ca.7366.24.odt submitted in the Trial Court. However, considering that the applicants are from poor strata of the society and are not well conversant to the technicalities, they have stated their caste as surnames while filing the claim petition.

In view of the above circumstances, the application is allowed. The applicants are permitted to correct their names. Office is directed to allow the applicants to withdraw the amount as per the directions of this Court by order dated 12th October, 2023. The appellant / insurance company to carry out necessary corrections in the cause title of the appeal and the applications. With this, the application is stands allowed. [ KISHORE C. SANT, J. ] nga
